The first mid-size five-seat all-electric SUV built on FAW-Volkswagen’s Intelligent Electric 2.0 platform. It is also Volkswagen’s first global electric vehicle equipped with a LiDAR. The model made its world premiere at Auto China 2026 and blind ordering is now open.
⚠️ Important distinction: The overseas Volkswagen Transporter T6 (a commercial van sharing the platform with Multivan) is not manufactured by FAW-Volkswagen. Do not confuse the two models.

Current Blind Order Policy
A RMB 99 reservation deposit can be deducted as RMB 2,000 from the vehicle price. Additional RMB 5,000 trade-in subsidy for existing Volkswagen and FAW Group vehicle owners.
Two Easily Confused "Volkswagen T6" Models
1. ✅ FAW-Volkswagen ID.AURA T6: Domestic all-electric SUV (new model)
2. ❌ VW Transporter T6/T6.1 (Multivan): German-made MPV/commercial van, previously imported by SAIC Volkswagen. No connection with FAW-Volkswagen.
